Refund Policy
Last updated: May 14, 2026
1. General Policy
Skintick sells digital API access and data services.
Because access is provided immediately after purchase, payments are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or where we explicitly approve a refund.
2. Free or Trial Access
If available, free or trial access is provided so you can test the API before purchasing a paid plan.
We encourage you to test endpoints, response formats, data coverage, and rate limits before subscribing.
3. Monthly Subscriptions
Monthly subscription payments are billed in advance.
If you cancel, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated.
We generally do not provide prorated refunds for partial months.
4. Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are billed in advance.
Annual subscriptions are generally non-refundable after purchase, except where required by law or approved by us at our discretion.
5. Duplicate or Accidental Payments
We may issue refunds for clear duplicate charges, accidental double payments, or obvious billing errors.
Contact us within 7 days of the charge.
6. Service Outages
If Skintick experiences a major prolonged outage caused by us, we may, at our discretion, provide:
- service credit;
- partial refund;
- subscription extension.
Temporary downtime, third-party marketplace outages, data-source failures, delayed marketplace updates, or limited data availability do not automatically qualify for a refund.
7. Data Accuracy
Refunds are not provided solely because:
- a marketplace price was delayed;
- an item was unavailable;
- a third-party marketplace changed its pricing;
- a marketplace blocked or changed access;
- API data differed from a marketplace at the time you checked;
- your trading or commercial decision was unprofitable.
Skintick data is provided as-is and should be independently verified for critical use.
8. Abuse and Terms Violations
We do not provide refunds if your account is suspended or terminated due to:
- abuse;
- fraud;
- API key sharing;
- scraping/reverse engineering;
- payment fraud;
- violation of rate limits;
- violation of the Terms of Service.
