Bitskins no longer trades, so no new prices are collected. What follows describes the rows already stored, which stay queryable as history.
Prices are an aggregated minimum across Bitskins's own book: a floor rather than a single takeable listing, which matters when you compare it against direct asks. Every row carries collected_at, source_updated_at, staleness_seconds, is_stale, is_outlier and a confidence tier — so Bitskins prices are safe to combine with the other 16 sources without one bad row poisoning your pricing logic.
Bitskins closed its platform permanently in August 2026 — its own site now reads "Thank you, and goodbye." Skintick stopped pricing it the same week.
Historical Bitskins prices stay queryable through the price history endpoints, but no new quotes are collected and it never appears in live reads or spread routes. A closed venue's last known price is a historical fact, not an offer.

How do I get Bitskins prices through an API?
You cannot — Bitskins shut down and no longer trades, so there are no current prices to return. Its historical prices stay queryable through the history endpoints, and the 16 marketplaces still trading are available through one REST endpoint.
What does the Bitskins price on Skintick represent?
An aggregated minimum across the source's own book, which is a floor rather than a single takeable listing. Every row also carries collected_at, source_updated_at, a staleness figure in seconds, and outlier and confidence flags, so your code can decide what to trust rather than guessing.
Is Bitskins data still updated?
No. Bitskins is not collected, so no new prices arrive. Rows already stored keep their original collected_at and staleness, so anything you read is plainly dated rather than passed off as current.
What fees did Bitskins charge?
Bitskins charged roughly 5% on the seller side, and items carry the standard 7-day Steam trade hold on delivery.
